Sakura no Mori
Approximately five minutes on foot from Kokusaikaikan Station on the Karasuma Line. Participants receive precise meeting instructions in advance.
Group training takes place every Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00 in the natural surroundings of Sakura no Mori. We practise with care for safety, other park users and the environment.

Sense slopes, roots, fallen leaves and soil conditions to develop stable steps and controlled shifts of balance.

Keep trees, people, obstacles and escape routes in view to choose a safe position and distance.

Adjust your body and decisions calmly as weather, light, wind and temperature change.
Respect Nature
Care for the place, consider other visitors and leave the training area in better condition than you found it.

Prepare for Outdoor Training
Comfortable Clothing
Choose clothes that can get dirty and allow your arms and legs to move freely.
Secure Footwear
For your first session, wear trainers with good grip. Guidance on tabi or jika-tabi is provided according to your experience.
Drinking Water
Bring drinking water in every season. In summer, a hat and protection from the heat are also needed.
Check the Weather
Heavy rain or severe weather may change or cancel training. Participants will be contacted in advance.
